The discussion of roster construction has increased to a great extent. This is due to the fact that even casual fans know the structure of contracts. This is especially true for playing-calling and the scheme. Being able to accurately capture these aspects of the sport is the fundamental to creating a successful game-changing franchise mode that you can play during the whole course of an event.

Madden NFL 22: Ranking all the possible candidates for the iconic cover this season

We're waiting with anticipation for the announcement of who will grace the cover for Madden NFL 22 this year. EA Sports has announced that the cover for the following season will be announced on the 17th of July on a Thursday. The company also provided us a teaser that gives us some clues as to the person's identity (we were treated to a brief appearance from Madden NFL 12 cover player Peyton Hillis). Find it here.

Two goats, one of which was evidently older than the other which caused a row inside a barn . They emerged to show the date.

We've got a couple of days left before we can find out who will be featured on the cover of this year's issue. We decided to look through a few candidates that might be suitable for the award. Below are our top-three options for both an individual cover athlete and our top choices if EA Sports decides to go with a two-player cover like they appear to suggest they'll do in the teaser video above.

Four of Madden NFL's most recent cover players were quarterbacks. It's only natural that our top pick would be someone who can line up on the inside of the field. After a 2020 season in which he was a top MVP quarterback, Bills quarterback Josh Allen is an ideal candidate for the next season of the videogame franchise. After appearing in the AFC Championship, Allen set records for his career in passing yards as well as passing touchdowns. He was Buffalo just a few steps away from the Super Bowl appearance. At this stage in his career, Allen is already a superstar. Allen is a favorite of the Bills Mafia would love have Allen's image and logo on the cover of the Super Bowl.

If you're not planning to be the quarterback's cover and you don't want to cover the quarterback, I don't see how you could overlook Derrick Henry. It was reported that there was a leak in March which suggested Henry might be the cover's athlete. While it's not known what he'll look like on the cover of this year's issue, Henry is certainly deserving of the honor. At times, the huge-bodied running back looks like he's something out of an action movie as He slams into defenders often on a regular basis. Henry led the league in rushing during back-to-back seasons and topped every skill position player in the 2020 season for the most years of scrimmages (2141). If a season where you average 126.7 rushing yards per game isn't enough to earn you the cover of Madden NFL, I'm not sure which one will.

Although you might be laughing at the thought of a defensive player making it onto the Madden NFL Cover, it's not unusual. Richard Sherman was the last defensive player to be the cover player for the franchise in Madden NFL 15 and prior to that, we've seen the likes of Troy Polamalu (shared with Larry Fitzgerald, Madden NFL 10) and Ray Lewis (Madden NFL 2005) appear on the cover as well. Donald is the most impressive player on the cover side of the ball, having been a member for four consecutive seasons of the 99 Club. In that light, there's not many other avenues to make it in the sport other being able to finally break onto the top of the list.

After the teaser's announcement earlier this week, everyone believed it was the result of a combination. It's not a secret that Tom Brady is considered the most successful quarterback ever (G.O.A.T) and Patrick Mahomes is widely considered to be the next great quarterback. So, it's only natural to think that there's a possibility or likelihood -- that there are two players on the cover. But when EA Sports trots out an older goat as well as a baby goat in its teaser, it's hard not to think of Brady and Mahomes. Both quarterbacks have been a regular visitor to the Madden NFL cover, with Brady appearing on the cover for Madden NFL 18 and Mahomes following the pattern a few years later to cover Madden NFL 20.

The combination could be monotonous although it's an excellent idea. It's almost like they were appearing on the cover just a few minutes ago. It's appropriate considering they played toe-to-toe in the Super Bowl last year.

EA Job Listings suggests Madden Could be Going To Switch

Madden NFL used to be the norm on Nintendo platforms however we haven't seen it since nearly a decade following Madden NFL 13 on Wii U. EA is still giving us updates every year for FIFA (even if they are "legacy versions"), EA previously announced that they were not planning to release it on the Switch in the year 2018 but a new job advertisement suggested Madden may finally be on the way.

This information was discovered by YouTuber Doctre81 and Doctre81, who came across an advertisement titled "Online Software Engineer - (C+)" Madden", dating back to November 2020. As part of the job description one section requires two years of experience on "Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo gaming consoles". That may not sound like much however, previous EA job advertisements haven't listed Nintendo as a part of their criteria.

EA may be looking into the possibility of releasing. Keep in mind that back in June 2020, EA confirmed it would launch seven Switch games in the 12-month period. June 2021 is only a few months away and there have been six confirmed games since then which includes Apex Legends earlier this week.

Then there's one more thing to go. However, considering the schedule of Madden's annual releases, EA could potentially be waiting for the release of Madden NFL 22 release - as rather than an Madden NFL 21 port - considering they traditionally release in August. Either way, let's just hope that this isn't a new legacy version, or is it?

Madden NFL 21 Predicts Super Bowl LV

Super Bowl 55 will be scheduled for this weekend. It will mark the conclusion of one of the most turbulent seasons in NFL history. The teams playing this year's contest have been selected. The Kansas City Chiefs will go against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a fight between two of the NFL's best quarterbacks: Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady. Like every year, it's now a custom, Electronic Arts is celebrating the Super Bowl with a Madden NFL simulation. The Madden NFL 21 simulation this year is predicted to be an excellent match.

This year's Madden NFL 21 Super Bowl simulation was a success with the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Tom Brady win by a score 37-27. Unfortunately, EA didn't provide much in terms of a statistical breakdown or play by play for this year's simulation. However, it did say that the Buccaneers led early, at 13-7. The Kansas City Chiefs lead by 14-13 at halftime. The second quarter clearly shows the offenses of both teams start to ramp up.

Madden NFL 21 has the game tied at 27, with just six minutes left in the fourth quarter. It's in this moment that the Super Bowl summary from EA can't provide a complete description of what happens. The red zone runs from Mahomes which ends up being a touchdown for the Chiefs at minimum. Fans must guess where the Chiefs will be able to score their field goal and what the defensive stops are that stop the Buccanneers scoring again. Let's just say, the last six minutes very much are in the Chiefs' favor.

EA has not released a full video of Madden NFL 21 Super Bowl 55 simulation. This is the first time. Instead, it has provided an online video with video clips of gameplay and commentary from actor King Keraun portraying his Madden spokesman influencer The Spokesperson. EA does not know if they simulate one particular game or if they simulate several games and select the most effective. It also doesn't know how EA does their simulation. This is the official Super Bowl 55 prediction for Madden NFL 21.

Madden NFL's Super Bowl predictions are a mixed collection. However, they've had a good track record over the years. Madden NFL's most recent predictions have been less successful than those of years before. Although it was able get the victory last year for Kansas City Chiefs, four of its six previous guesses were incorrect.

Whether or not Madden NFL's right picture from last year's season continues to be successful, and bringing both the Chiefs and Madden an upset, remains to be determined. Super Bowl 55 will start on February 7, at 6:30 EST. You can view me on CBS or via the CBS All Access app with an active subscription.
